Installation Instructions for Urban Commando Picnic Table

** Note: Handle ALL concrete parts carefully. **

(Bumping pieces together will cause chips and cracks.)

Step 1

Prepare the area where your table is going to be installed.  Be sure it is as flat and level as possible. Compacted soil or concrete slab is best for supporting this table.Bolt the table plates (2) and the seat plates (4) to the tops of each leg.  Make sure to orient the plates exactly as shown in the overhead view diagram. Use 14 bolts and 14 washers. (Make sure to tighten these bolts before moving to the next step.)

Step 2

Using a 2-wheeled dolly, move the 2 legs into position, 44" apart (48" on center)HANDICAP VERSION ONLY:  Legs are 32" apart (inside edge to inside edge).(Smooth side can be facing inwards or outwards your choice) Safety note: Do not leave legs sitting upright unattended, in case they tip over causing damage or injury.

Step 3

Begin with the 3 slabs making up the table top and start 1 bolt (with washer) in each of the holes.  DO NOT tighten bolts yet.Slight moving of legs may be required in order for the bolt holes to line up.

Step 4

Next install the 2 seat slabs, start 1 bolt (with washer) in each of the holes.DO NOT tighten bolts yet.Slight moving of legs may be required in order for the bolt holes to line up.

Step 5

Make minor adjustments to even out the gaps in the 3 piece top, as required.

Step 6

Now tighten ALL bolts until they are snug.  Over tightening bolts can cause breaking and/or cracking of concrete.
